Cold Brew Coffee
Serves: 8 cups
This recipe yields 8 cups of cold brew coffee. Homemade cold brew coffee that taste just like the expensive coffee houses without the expensive price.
  • 1 cup finely ground coffee beans
  • 8 cups cold water
  1. Add water to a large container, then add the ground coffee.
  2. Stir to combine making sure all the coffee grounds are covered with water.
  3. Cover container and place in the refrigerator to steep for at least 12 hours (or up to 24 hours).
  4. Then remove the container and place a fine mesh strainer along with a cheese cloth over a second container.
  5. Pour the coffee and grounds through the stainer (you will need to repeat this a couple of times to remove all the grounds. Discard grounds.
  6. Store covered container in fridge for up to a week (if it lasts that long).
  7. To make a glass of cold brew coffee, add ice cubes to a glass. Depending how strong you like your coffee, add ½ glass of water into a cup of ice brew coffee and mix well.
  8. Add creamer and sweetener to taste. (optional)
  9. Enjoy!
